General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Native English Speaking Counties Nationality

  • TEFL certificate preferred(120 hours)

  • Ability to commit to a 12 month contract

Teach in Public School
About the position:
  • Contract period: One academic year contract

  • Full-time position: Monday - Friday ; 8:00am - 5:30pm

  • 15 teaching hours per week at most (40 minutes per class)

  • Responsibilities: *Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class; *Creating lesson plans and modifying accordingly throughout the year; *Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum; *Creating positive educational climate for students to learn in; *Meeting course and school-wide student performance goals; *Working closely with teaching assistant and other colleagues to plan and coordinate work; *Participating in workshops and training sessions organized by the school and education bureau; * Post a short writing piece about your experience in Suzhou every quarter in the official platform.

  • 15,000 to 19,000 RMB/month

  • Teaching bonus: up to 500 RMB/month

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree

  • Native English speaker

  • 22-50 years old

  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/etc. certificate OR 2 years full-time classroom teaching experience

  • Clean criminal record and excellent health

  • Previous teaching experience a plus but not required as training is provided
